A Holiday For Our Underappreciated Heroes

Teacher's day, a yearly celebration

And yet, we all appreciate our teachers, each day and each night

For their time is spent for us, dedicated to us

To teach us, help us, guide us and lead us

Teachers are very underappreciated heroes

Not all have heard about sacrifices like their own

They cannot compare to famous, fictional heroes

Because despite not having powers, they have led us with care

I cannot express through simple words how much I'm thankful

Never have I met such beings so faithful

Ever so patient and understanding

Such traits I hope I'd gain by learning

Happy Teacher's Day to all the teachers

Know you are loved and appreciated by all

Though we may not always show it

We will always love you, as long as we live
