Tending the Roots

Good day/evening to us all! I hope to show through this photoblog the simple ways to help our environment. Please enjoy!

In this picture, my front yard is shown. Well... a part of it. Sadly, we have a big yard; cleaning it would take forever, so instead I chose to work on this part.

After more or less 2 hours, I'm finally done sweeping all the leaves and gathering them in one spot.

It is also important to put trash in the trash bags and make sure they won't spill out of the bags, which is shown in this picture and the picture below.

In this photo I am doing as I had said before this picture, except I'm doing it to the other bag.

In this final photo, I am shown to be segregating the bottles from the rest of the trash, since it can be reused or recycled for future purposes and it is important to separate trash that will decompose, not decompose, hazardous and recyclable.

I hope this makes you realize that even though these are simple actions, they are still valuable. Every step counts!

    1. I was quite determined to finish because it felt like a waste if I didn't. I guess one could call me a stubborn person.
