Kannawidan Festival of 2023

    Kannawidan Festival is held annually in Vigan City, Ilocos Sur. It is held in celebration of the separation of the two Ilocos provinces in 1818. Kannawidan means "tradition" or "heritage". It is a festival created to showcase the province's culture in delicacies, arts, agriculture, dance and music. This year, it is celebrated from January 28 to February 14. There were fireworks, pageants, exhibits, food and trade expos, parades, contests, shows, dancing, and the likes.
