Happy Mother's Day!

When I woke up for Mother's Day, I was aware of the occasion but my mind and body felt sluggish and my head hurt a lot. My throat was sore and my voice sounded like a guy's (not that I hate it, it's just it's too low and I can't even hear myself speak). I sleepily greeted my mom and grandmas.

After the Sunday Service, I was beginning to plan what to do for the assignment in Filipino, which I would do after lunch, since we were planning on having pizzas, milkfish, squid... there were even churros and quesadillas. Since I liked the quesadillas, I ate more of it, then a bit of the milkfish, and finally a churro. I loved the chocolate dip so I kept dipping the churro. We took pictures not just for the memories, but also to tease our other family members who weren't with us that we were eating these.

When I was done eating, I immediately went to wash the dishes and cleaned the table. Afterwards, I went to my grandma's sister's house and did my best to find a reliable source or two for the Filipino assignment. It took a while since I also had side quests - aka going to Tiktok and going from one unrelated to school website to another - and also because the websites I found were a mess and nothing added up. I had to keep confirming what I saw because of trust issues  and because I wanted to have a high score on this assignment. Eventually I was finished and had it printed. It was like a normal day honestly, slightly different than usual, but as my family had said, "every day is mother's day, so we should appreciate them whether or not it is the specific day of celebrating it".
